May 28, 2017 - Carter Posts 6th Place Finish at Cochran Motor Speedway
Kicking off the Memorial Day Weekend, Rhett Carter visited East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) on Saturday night for the Southern Thunder Late Model Series sanctioned program. Timing in thirteenth fastest in a field of 27 cars, Carter got caught behind a wreck on the opening lap of the feature ending his night abruptly.

Sunday night Carter stopped at Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Georgia) for the 4th annual Memorial Day shootout. Starting the night off with the fastest time in a field of 22 cars, Rhett secured his spot into the $2,000-to-win Southern Thunder Late Model Series A-Main. Gambling on his setup prior to the feature, Rhett Carter slipped out of the Top 5 but held on to a 6th place finish.

May 13, 2017 - Rhett Carter Returns to Victory Lane at Needmore Speedway
After Mother Nature washed away his original plans, Rhett Carter made the trip to Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Georgia) on Saturday night to a field of 14 Late Models. Earning the pole position for the feature after timing in quickest overall in time trials, Carter cruised to his sixth win of the season topping Nevin Gainey, Kitt Sealy, Kelly Walker, and Cole Exum. (Lee Photography)

May 6, 2017 - Top 10 Finish at Golden Isles Speedway
Saturday night brought Rhett Carter to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) to a field of 12 Late Models. After posting the fastest time in qualifying and starting on the pole of the featuer, Carter ran into mechanical issues forcing him to withdrawal from the A-Main.
