Rhett Carter kicked things into high gear on Saturday night by parking his Mac Forestry #44 Taylor Pools/ Rocket Chassis XR1 / Wildcat Performance Engines Late Model in Victory Lane at Golden Isles Speedway.

“After a rough start to the year during the Super Bowl of Racing back in February, it feels great to get things pointed in the right direction with a win,” said Carter. “We’ve got a really good piece for this season, and I think we can enjoy a lot of success. I just want to thank this awesome team for their support and hard work.”

He started the night by setting the fastest time in qualifications, which locked him into the pole position for the finale. He would go on to lead every lap of the feature en route to the dominant victory. Rhett was followed across the finish line by Scott Johnson, Chad Tuten, Russell Brown, and Ryan Carter.
