March 18, 2017 - Rhett Carter Attends Volusia Speedway Park Season Opener
With the weather raining out his original plans at South Georgia Motorsports Park (Valdosta, Georgia), Rhett Carter headed to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) on Saturday evening for the track’s season opener. Competing in a field of 12 Super Late Models in the feature, Carter landed a 3rd place finish behind Mark Whitener and David Whitener with Travis Staats and Nevin Gainey rounding out the Top 5.

March 11, 2017 - Carter Returns to Victory Lane in Late Model at Cochran Speedway
Behind the wheel of the Mac Forestry #44 Crate Late Model, Rhett Carter invaded Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Georgia) on Friday evening for the NeSmith Winter Shootout sanctioned weekend. With 37 cars signed in, Carter timed in ninth fastest in his qualifying group transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the $2,000-to-win opening night feature. Sending the Top 3, Rhett locked his spot with a 3rd place finish. Rolling off 18th, Rhett dropped one position in the 40-lapper recording a 19th place finish.

On Saturday pulling double duty in the Super and Crate Late Model division, Carter timed in seventh fastest in his group but came short of a transfer spot in his B-Main to get into the $5,000-to-win finale. In the Super Late Model ranks, Rhett Carter wheeled his way to the 25-lap victory over Wil Herrington, Joseph Brown, Chad Tuten, and Jeremy Fairclotch. March 4, 2017 - Rhett Carter Captures First Victory of Season at GIS
Rhett Carter kicked things into high gear on Saturday night by parking his Mac Forestry #44 Taylor Pools/ Rocket Chassis XR1 / Wildcat Performance Engines Late Model in Victory Lane at Golden Isles Speedway.

“After a rough start to the year during the Super Bowl of Racing back in February, it feels great to get things pointed in the right direction with a win,” said Carter. “We’ve got a really good piece for this season, and I think we can enjoy a lot of success. I just want to thank this awesome team for their support and hard work.”

Rhett made short work of the Late Model program at Golden Isles Speedway (Waynesville, Georgia) on Saturday night. He started the night by setting the fastest time in qualifications, which locked him into the pole position for the finale. He would go on to lead every lap of the feature en route to the dominant victory. Rhett was followed across the finish line by Scott Johnson, Chad Tuten, Russell Brown, and Ryan Carter.
