July 29, 2017 - Carter Lands 2nd Place Finish in Special at Cochran
Saturday night found Rhett Carter in action at Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Georgia) for the $2,000-To-Win NeSmith Crate Late Model special. Bringing home a Top 5 finish in the feature, Carter landed a 2nd place spot behind Chase Edge with Joshua Bishop rounding out the podium finishers.

July 22, 2017 - Podium Finish at Needmore Speedway
Returning with the Southern Thunder Late Model Series, Rhett Carter traveled to Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Georgia) on Saturday night for the $3,000 top prize. With 19 Super Late Models signed in, Carter timed in fifth fastest in qualifying locking him into the 5th-starting position for the feature. Breaking into a podium spot, Rhett jumped up two positions to place 3rd behind Kyle Chappell and Garrett Lloyd with John Kellum and Brandon Dewitt completing the Top 5 finishers.

July 8, 2017 - Carter Attends Powell Memorial at Volusia Speedway Park
On Saturday night Rhett Carter invaded to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) for the 22nd annual Powell Family Memorial. Starting the night off with a heat race victory, Rhett earned the pole position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. With only six cars from the 25-car field finishing the feature, Carter was an early retiree from the 67-lapper while running in 12th.

July 4, 2017 - Flat Tire Drops Carter at Golden Isles Speedway
Kicking off the Fourth of July weekend, Rhett Carter traveled to Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Georgia) on Saturday night for the Southern Thunder Late Model Series sanctioned program. After laying down the fastest time overall in qualifying, Carter had a tire cut down by another competitor on the opening lap of his feature sending him to the tail. Coming from the back of the pack, Rhett worked his way up to a 15th place outing.

Following the Southern Thunder Late Model Series on Sunday, Carter was one of 32 cars signed in at Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Georgia) for the Georgia Showdown. Timing in second fastest overall, Rhett earned the 2nd-starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Gambling on his setup before the race, Rhett Carter faded back to a 22nd place outing in the 40-lap affair.
